Director in Bioinformatics：
Responsibility:
The responsibility of this position is to lead a computational genomics group to support gene sequencing business in the company. Working closely with sequencing group and IT group, set up bioinformatics platform and oversee the daily operation in genomic database building and maintenance, sequence data analysis, genomic technology development and applications.
Qualifications:
A PhD in bioinformatics or computational biology with postdoctoral training. Industrial experience preferred. Expertise in next generation sequencing technologies, genome assembly, genome annotation, polymorphism and phylogenetic analysis, digital gene expression profiling. Familiar with key software for computational genomics and bio-cloud computing setup. Knowledge in application of sequencing in human disease research. Strong record of accomplishment (papers, patents and presentations). Strong team work ethic and excellent communication and presentation skills.
