Preformulation Associate Scientist:
Key accountabilities:
1. Support process chemistry team/ARD team for physicochemical characterizations for intermediate or final API's by using techniques including but not limited to PXRD, TGA, DSC, particle size, bulk density, surface area and etc.
2. Help function head to manage lab safety, environmental and health program to ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies.
3. Help function head to manage budget planning, instrument purchase, consumable purchase to support the daily needs for laboratory research activities.
4. Help function head to monitor internal resources consumption and organize group meeting to address operation issues.
Core business/Functional skills and education.
1.BS degree in pharmaceutical science, pharmaceutical analysis, physical chemistry/ physical pharmacy or other directly-related science discipline.
2.Familarity with preformulation study instruments such as XPRD, laser particle size distribution, DSC, TGA is desirable.
3.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, organization skills and outstanding interpersonal skills are essential job requirements.
4.Must be able to work in a team-oriented manner in order to accomplish performance objectives.
